Totally agree with all these points! I’d also say leveraging designer intuition is so critical in moments of indecisiveness or too much feedback. As designers, we should trust our vision and reasonings behind certain features/products so we can also contribute to an effective UX practice alongside stakeholders and users.
Good point that intuition can be a powerful tool, but it can be a tricky partner—it needs to be grounded in a lot of experience and previous good judgment to be truly reliable.
If we start leaning on it too soon, we risk making decisions that might FEEL right but don’t stand up strategically. As always, it's all balance: developing intuition over time through experience while also considering context, data, and feedback. When intuition is well-honed and paired with strategic thinking, it helps us not just react, but proactively shape the design direction
